Safety Officer

الوصف الوظيفي
Safety Officer is responsible for making observations on unsafe acts and conditions using the company form, evaluate the risk involved in terms of Worst Potential Severity and communicate the same to the in charge construction/operation personnel

Encourage and to make sure each foreman conducts a Start of Work Meeting for his group of people and guide them to deliver it on daily basis

Measure the quality of Start of Work Meeting as per the form provided by the company.

Encourage and motivate workers engaging safely and or making initiatives in safety and proposing them for monthly safety award to the Safety Supervisor

Report all accidents and incidents within 30 minutes to the Safety Supervisor and manage the incident scene to gather quality information for investigation of accident

Complete project & client requirements as distributed by the Safety Supervisor and complete assigned responsibilities by Safety Supervisor.

Keep positive attitude, approachable and keeping risk based conversation with operation and construction personnel. Should work towards the goal of the company based on trust, loyalty, professionalism and expertise..

المهارات
Ability to understand and interpret client standards and requirements, Abilitity to apply safety principles. Good understanding of behavior based safety, basic scientific and math calculations. Understand risk and risk calculation.
