Responsible for the overall management of production of Gears and precision engineered parts. Leading a team of supervisors and operators to enable production using the latest technology CNC machine tools covering Hobbing, Turning, Milling, Grinding, Welding, Heat Treatment, Sheet Metalwork and Coating.
Provide production management to achieve time, cost and quality objectives.
In depth knowledge of Gear Manufacturing (Hobbing, Shaping & Grinding), Multi Process 5 Axis machines, Grinding, Heat Treatment, Laser Technologies (Welding. Cladding, Cutting).
Ensure smooth interface and team cooperation with engineering, planning, purchasing and finance departments.
Ensure smooth and stable production through proper control of resources.
Maintain full traceability of documentation related to production activities.
Review and manage the planned and actual times for production and seek method improvements to reduce cycle times and improve flow.
Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports on utilization
Active member of TPM Team
Reporting on success and areas that need improvement
Lead a team of Supervisors and Operators.
Provide a good image to the company through representation and exhibitions and customer visits as required.
