• Implementing management/client HSE rules and regulations.
• Conducting Safety Training/ Tool Box Talks at regular basis.
• Conducting regular safety inspections, Hazard spotting exercise.
• Management of work place safety, Safety induction.
• Conducting safety committee meetings and reviewing / implementing the recommendations made.
• To ensure, on daily basis that all operatives including subcontractors are working in a safe manner and complying with safety regulations.
• Responsible to provide safety materials and relevant documents like site safety hand books, posters, forms etc.
• Implementation of Management Safety Policies, Barricades, Sign boards, P.P.E., etc.
• Ensuring Safe Access/ egress to all the employees.
• Ensuring good housekeeping all the time.
• Strictly following PTW system.
• Investigating accidents and initiating corrective/preventive action to eliminate unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
• Scaffold Safety.
• Monitoring lifting activities.
• Safety Audits, Job Hazard Analysis and Accident Investigations.
• Implementing Electrical Safety, Hot Work Safety, Etc.
• Maintenance of Safety at excavation and trench works.
• Safety related to handling and usage of compressed gas cylinders.
• Familiar with Safety Audits, LOTO, SATA, JHA, HAZCOM etc.
• First aid and emergency proceedings.
• Work equipment inspections.
• Book keeping filing and editing.
Any Specialization Required
• Candidate must have power plant construction project experience
