Job Purpose
Supervises a team of Electrical technicians carrying out maintenance or service functions within established timing, quality and cost standards.
Role responsibilities:
• Supervises employees performing electrical maintenance or service functions within established standards.
• Estimates the total cost, plan and schedule according to work orders existing in the system and as per resources availability.
• Participates in the root cause analysis in coordination with inspection and reliability for repeated failures or rework cases.
• Promotes SHE values to team; communicates safety regulations, assesses/reports hazards/violations; initiates corrective action
• Determines job priorities based on established schedules and makes daily assignments, ensuring availability of relevant staff
• Monitors working practices and adherence to safety procedures to contribute to the safety of employees working in the area.
• Installs, commissions, modifies, suggests design changes to control electrical equipment according to company requirements
• Participates in the development of electrical strategies, policies and procedures using extensive knowledge and experience
• Allocates staffing and manages overtime and holiday schedules
Qualification and Requirements:
• 3 - 8 years of experience
• Degree or Diploma combined with relevant experience
