Job Purpose
Process Engineer applies basic knowledge of technical problem-solving techniques, monitoring and analysis to routine engineering tasks.
Role responsibilities:
• Monitors day to day plant process parameters
• Handles the process engineering issues concerning plant change development, plant redesign, scouting and feasibility studies, new basis of designs, plant operation optimization, and operational support.
• Provides input for preparation Department Capital and Operating budgets and monitor annual expenditure budgets.
• Supports technical studies / surveys with teams within Tasnee or external teams for the Process Engineering and other related issues.
• Operation and utility issue troubleshooting.
• Ensures efficient performance of equipment and process operation.
• Advises on procedures for reducing material and energy losses.
• Prepares required management of change with regards to international process Engineering standards and Best technical practices.
• Establishes priorities of process efficiency research and development such as Cracking, hydrogenation & separation, new process technologies, improved process operations and energy systems.
• Reaction Kinetics and Catalysts Performance monitoring
Qualification and Requirements:
• Bachelor s Degree in Chemical engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in Olefin Cracker
