We are seeking an experienced, skilled information technology candidate to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting network and systems, updating system hardware and software, troubleshooting system errors, and assisting team members in supporting all data security and optimization. An extensive background in technology and computer science, with experience in maintaining and installing IT systems, is a must. This position is directly reporting to the IT section head.
Provide the first point of IT Support contact.
Install, configure, and update IT machines, computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Monitor and maintain IT systems, computer systems, and networks.
Set up new users; accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
Assisting staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face, email or over the telephone, or remotely, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
test and evaluate new technology
Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Monitor the secure the IT systems and keep security programs up to date.
Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to supplier or partner organizations as required.
Log all incidents and service requests in ALIYAs Helpdesk system.
Manage Helpdesk tickets, planning and prioritizing systematically to minimize backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
Ensure system and data security are maintained at a high standard, ensuring the ALIYA networks integrity is not compromised.
Expedite the repair of hardware faults and software configuration problems, notifying or forwarding relevant suppliers on time.
Monitor performance of ALIYA systems, ensuring issues are appropriately escalated and resolved.
Provide technical assistance to project teams at Head Office and Site and undertake technical project roles when required,
supporting the roll-out of new applications and solutions.
Demonstrate commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT team.
Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with key suppliers, conducting
dealings professionally and appropriately.
Assist with the ongoing development of related firm policies and procedures, including appropriate controls around organizational change management.

Qualifications and training required
Degree in Computer Science, Information technology or equivalent.
Minimum five years experience in IT support.
Knowledge of data storage and data recovery.
Knowledge of windows server and active directory.
Knowledge of computer networking.
Knowledge of CCTV systems.
