الوصف الوظيفي Reporting to the Manager, the Engineer will oversee all maintenance programs. The Engineer will ensure that all operations are conducted in a respectful and responsible way, ensuring that all decisions and actions comply with company policies and procedures. The Engineer is responsible for the repair and maintenance of buildings. He must supervise and lead maintenance team in an effective manner and ensure the level of morale is maintained. He must also respond to concerns and complaints of tenants in a positive and courteous manner. Responsibilities: I. Manage maintenance and repairs 1) Conduct inspections of public housing units for needed services and repairs. 2) Coordinate emergency and regular repairs and coordinate repairs to buildings. 3) Maintain fire protection systems and equipment 4) Coordinate maintenance and repairs to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Pest Control 5) Coordinate maintenance and repairs to structural, mechanical and electrical systems 6) Coordinate maintenance and repairs of building interiors and exteriors 7) Coordinate maintenance and repairs of finishing, ceilings, flooring and roofing. II. Supervise maintenance staff 1) Evaluate, train and develop staff. 2) Provide leadership and guidance to staff 3) Promote staff morale and workplace safety 4) Assign tasks and ensure schedules are maintained 5) Adjust tasks to meet staff capabilities 6) Recognize and deal with language problems 7) Provide opportunities for training 8) Supervise staff and delegate responsibilities 9) Take corrective action when required III.
