الوصف الوظيفي Ensure availability of loading equipment and storage space as per production capability and customer requirements. Plan or implement material flow management systems of operations departments to meet production requirements. Ensure availability of yard space to meet the requirements of running projects and uninterrupted product flow. Finalize and agree with Transport Service Providers and Sales & Marketing Head for scheduling and resource management to meet the customer delivery schedule, as to deliver goods timely & safely to the client. Develop training program to ensure the availability of competent and trained manpower in logistics section. Manage inventory of coils as well as yard for finished pipes, inbound and outgoing deliveries. Strategically plan and manage logistic activities, contracts terms and negotiate rates with transportation service provider. Develop measures to streamline processes, cost reduce and evaluate effective cost control methods. Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, financial commitments are met. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, customer complaints and manpower availability issues. Monitor and ensure all logistics operations and equipment adhering to the law, regulatory guidelines, legal, ISO, API, and customer specific requirements. Keep updated with insurance clause, guidelines for timely reporting of insurance claims and closure for the same, that may have occurred due to damages/accidents within logistics operations. Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios. Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to any logistics operations. المهارات Improvise the area for rejected and accepted raw materials or products Accountabilities: Meet cost and timeliness targets.
