الوصف الوظيفي POSITION SUMMARY To direct, control and co-ordinate the execution of projects, under the leadership of the execution projects director, involving LSTK mega projects, high technology equipment, engineering and services to achieve projects completion on time, within budget and at the required levels of quality taking into account safety and reliability. To assist Project directors / Manager in providing project input, in the areas of scope definition and preparation of engineering data, to the Business Matrix Core team, for the preparation of customer bids/proposals. III, NATURE AND SCOPE The MEET Project controls team is primarily responsible for all project controls activities within the MEET execution team for all activities for Engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning for new plants built by Air Products. As such, Project Controls manager is responsible for developing, project controls procedures, plans and implementation to improve Air Products’ competitiveness and enable world-class projects execution. He/she will be expected to understand and challenge technical specifications, commercial practices, operating practices and business processes with a focus on driving cost and schedule reduction initiatives. He/she will understand and promote current best-in-class sourcing strategies and methodologies across the industry. Strong sourcing, organizational, written, and negotiating skills are required. The candidate must possess both excellent analytical and leadership skills. He/she will need to have the knowledge, experience, and ability to employ the appropriate influence strategies with project execution teams, supply chain, and business stakeholders to meet established goals and objectives. Ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical information, across cultures and organizations is a key success factor. The individual will be expected to take ownership for preparing, executing, modifying and leading projects controls execution. Experience in executing and managing LSTK EPC contracts is a must. Individual is expected to bring substantial expertise in managing risks and function independently as a primary commercial advisor for proposal and project execution teams. Travel might require for this position both short & long business trips as needed.
