Food Inspector Duties & Responsibilities
This job requires candidates to be able to perform duties that include the following:
Monitor and Maintain required hygiene and sanitation procedures throughout the process flow of food and food grade materials.
Train staff on Food safety requirements, standards, policies and procedures.
Conduct Safety meeting.
Schedule and conduct routine internal inspections and audits.
Work to ensure the product is fit to eat and compliant with federal laws and regulations and code od practice.
Travel occasionally for the job.
Conduct risk assessment
Monitor Health condition of staff
Food inspectors provide a critical function, which is essentially making sure that the food production and processing is safe to eat.
المهارات
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Catering Industry and minimum qualification should be Bachelors in Microbiology/Food Technology and good knowledge in HACCP/ISO 22000:2018. Master’s degree is preferable with basic computer literacy and decent communication skills.
