CMMS Manager

Job Description
Job Summary:
Provides lead technical, business support and analysis for the District’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) inclusive of support of asset management, work planning and spare parts inventory within the software. Coordinates the interface of the CMMS system, procedures and data transfer to various departments and databases. Ensures all CMMS procedures are developed and followed throughout the District. Works under the direction of the Maintenance Superintendent.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manages MMS operation at regional sites to maintain a better performance and solve any problems.
• Manages CMMS, Work Request portal and handheld device systems for all account locations.
• Leads the CMMS account wide System Administration team implementing best practices, data remediation processes, and system compliance.
• Responsible for account and site SOP development and adherence and Business Process documentation reviews.
• Leads the planning and process improvement activities at the Account, Regional and Site functional level.
• Analyses the input/output of databases of MMS to improve the MMS system.
• Supervises the process of input database and work orders generation process for the next maintenance years to ensure proper information input in the system.
• Provides technical support and technical training to the operating staff for preventive & corrective maintenance, assets, inventory, Incident tracking and custom reports.
• Monitors equipment inventory for all sites to update the system.
• Implements maintenance frequencies and duration for the equipment and buildings to improve the maintenance work quality.
• Reviews and analyses statistical reports to update, repair or modify the existing programs.
• Audits maintenance plans application to make sure users aware of the task that need to be performed.
• Develops system by enhancing its performance and creating new reports.
• Attend project management and DACO meetings and follows up on his respective items.
• Designs, writes and implements all CMMS reports as needed to support the First Line Supervisors, Site Directors, Managers and clients.
