الوصف الوظيفي
Good knowledge on AD, DHCP, DNS, Zone management, shared folder management and failover clustering.
Working Knowledge on Windows & Active Directory Services.
Exchange Knowledge on concepts – replication, Sites, KCC, etc. Knowledge of these concepts in Windows 2012 & 2016 is highly desirable.
Providing Level L2/L3 support in Active Directory issues.
Designing and deploying new Active Directory domain.
Installation and configuring Windows 2000/2003 server
Designing Group Policies and managing them.
Implementing Microsoft DNS with integration to Active Directory.
Planning and implementation of Active Directory Replication.
Distributed File System (DFS) and should have worked on ADAM/LDAP.
Planning and implementation of Disaster Recovery.
Troubleshooting inter-domain and inter-forest Trusts.
File Replication Services (FRS)
Designing and deploying new Active Directory domain.
Distributed File System (DFS) and should have worked on ADAM/LDAP.
Troubleshooting inter-domain and inter-forest Trusts.
Problem solving Capability in IBM, HP and Dell Hardware
Problem determination and resolution within SLA’s
Should be able to Perform Root Cause Analysis for the incidents Handle technical escalations
Proactive Metrics and Improvement
Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 server administration
Backup - VERITAS, IBM Tivoli, Netbackup
Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
Antivirus - Trend, Symantec, Microsoft Forefront
Email Archiving software
Good Exposure to various tools and technologies (VM Ware, Citrix, Virtualization etc)
Willing to Work on Shifts based on the projects need
Microsoft and other technical/industry certifications desirable.
Proactive and clear communication skills
Quality and Process Knowledge
Willingness to travel to different locations on short team. (Travel and location flexibility)
