One of our client organization is looking for a Lead Data Architect role.

Job Description:
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 10 years working experience, with minimum 5~7 years in banking environment with data related work as architect
• At least 5 years experience in enterprise IT, including senior roles in at least one full data architecture projects, preferably in the banking industries
• Proven expertise with data modeling, database design, and data management techniques and models including:
- Data warehousing / data marts
- Data mining
- ETL
- RDBMS / Big Data
- Conceptual, logical and physical data modeling with ERDs.
- Familiarity with object modeling in UML.
• Exposure to large scale business transformation project is an added advantage
• Minimum five years in business, plus experience working in or closely with IT on process design or architecture.
SKILLS
• Clear and through understanding of modeling concepts
• Ability to do data modeling and analytical thinking
• Ability to understand current data in use in an enterprise and create placeholder for future data requirements
• Solid understanding of Data Quality as a concept and ability to ascertain and implement effective data quality program
QUALIFICATIONS
• Possess a recognized degree or master in information technology, banking / finance
• Desired skills with TOGAF, Zachman/Other architectural modelling techniques
• Usage of architect / modelling tools like Erwin, Visio, SAP PowerDesigner, Mega, ABACUS Avolution, Aris and/or Architect Certification would be an added advantage
• Data-related certifications.

• Ability to coach/mentor other technical team members and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously whilst working under tight deadlines.
• Ability to engage at the senior business executive level and IT teams to set and communicate architectural direction as well as balancing theory and practicality.
• Ability to create robust, sustainable architecture that support requirements and provides for scalability given budgetary constraints and user requirements.
• Strong analytical and able to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment when tackling issues.
