Direct experience in the powertrain industry leading and managing a team of highly qualified repair mechanics and technicians.
Strong technical skills in transmission, engine, and driveline components.
Design, develop, and deliver the overall training strategy and ensure the best use of limited training resources.
Identify training needs and develop training courses to address the learning journey of each technician.
Revolutionize the use of e-Learning to deliver technical and business content to employees.
Ensure that Identifix is used on all repair labor times for customer estimates.
Ensure each technician is accountable to sold labor hours and productivity ratios.
Working with line managers, create an implementation plan to deliver required skills of technicians.
Consult with line managers to ensure training is conducted on a timely and relevant basis.
Submits monthly reports on training activities & workshop performance to Operations Manager.
Within the workshop, greet customers that enter our facility with hospitality and the highest level of respect.
Along with the center manager, responsible for the vehicle inspection process.
Effectively communicate a detailed inspection analysis to each customer by educating and informing the customer of their unique vehicle needs and to provide the best solution to properly determine which service or repairs are necessary with honesty and integrity in way that increases sales without damaging the brand reputation.
Dispatching repair work orders to technicians in the most effective manner and managing the shop flow to maintain overall an efficient optimal center workflow.
Managing the parts process in accordance with GPM objectives and within company policies and procedures.
Acquisition of Fleet and B2B customers to serve heavy line commercial objectives.
Properly entering marketing campaign information into the DMS.
Ensure Customer Repeat Rate meets stated company objectives.
Manage attendance and resolve minor personnel issues as they arise from time-to-time.
Develop and maintain an efficient equipment use policy for safety and cleanliness.
المهارات
· Minimum 10 years relevant multi-brand, non-dealership, direct work experience in a private sector automotive service & repair center.
· Automotive technical and professional certifications.
· Deep knowledge of DMS (Dealer Management System) with the ability to use the DMS effectively and to train support staff on the DMS.
