الوصف الوظيفي POSITION SUMMARY The position is responsible for successfully delivering the Equipment and Materials Procurement scope on a of an overall $5Bn project in Saudi Arabia. The role will be based at the Air Products officers in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will require travel to Global Air Products offices, job site and suppliers. The Senior Project Procurement Manager is responsible for the integration and oversight of 3 separate process unit packages and their Project Procurement Managers in addition to the packages directly assigned. The role will report into the Procurement Director - NEOM project The Senior Project Procurement Manager is charged with the efficient and effective material control of the project equipment and materials from planning through sourcing, expediting, inspection, transport, and receipt of several process packages. Measures of success are buying below budget and delivering on schedule to the required quality. The Senior Project Procurement Manager is expected to develop competitive sourcing strategies, actively engage suppliers, professionally negotiate purchase orders, and resolve performance issues. This position challenges technical specifications, commercial practices, operating practices and business processes with a focus on driving cost-effective solutions. Strong planning, project management, cost control, sourcing, communication, and negotiating skills are required. The position requires a proven track record of executing large EPC projects as a PPM and team leadership experience. III. NATURE AND SCOPE The Project Procurement position is office-based with regular travel to suppliers, client, Global AP offices and job site. DIMENSIONS: Project Capital Value $ 5BNPurchase Order Value up to $250 MM Project Reports ~10 (PPM’s Expeditors, Inspectors, Project Logistics) PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES The Senior Project Procurement Manager is expected to: Exemplify the Air Products leadership competencies daily: Lead & Inspire; Manage Execution; Strategic Mindset Manage project resource planning, working with Regional Directors to ensure resourcing for planned project work.Direct the project Procurement team and work closely with the Procurement Director and Project Director to successfully plan and execute the Equipment and Materials Procurement scopeAct as single point of contact between the Procurement team and the Project Execution team on the assigned packages.Interface at senior management levels within the suppliers’ organizations to represent Air Products’ interests. Manage warranty claims, backcharges, and liquidated damages Communicate and develop execution strategies to respond to changing market conditions and business drivers to maximize leverage and minimize risk. Negotiate with Suppliers to obtain globally competitive price, delivery, and contract terms.Liase frequently with PPM’s, Expeditors, Inspection Leads, and Transportation Specialists to ensure exceptional executionManage budget for the Procurement scope of the project, including the equipment/materials costs as well as the Procurement hours expendedWork with cross-functional team to manage supplier qualification status and performanceMonitor global market conditions and business drivers to maximize leverage and minimize risk.Review and analyze material status reports and communicate risks and problem areas to Project Manager on regular basis.
