The Port Diver will be the sole qualified person to execute, evaluate, report, film or take pictures under water and under direct instructions only from the Harbour Master. Perform underwater surveys and Inspections for Ships, Seabeds, wreckage, pollution signs and other support services. To assure JSA/JFA, PTW and diving perimeter areas are managed and identified as per law..
Responsibilities:
Perform Underwater, surveying, photograph, searches and harbor / sea bottom surveys.
Carry out Inspections of jetties and ships’ hulls.
Identification of surface and underwater explosive devices.
Participate in mine counter measure (MCM) operations.
Perform underwater search and recovery operations.
Perform underwater photography.
Recognize diving or pressure-related illnesses.
Provide assistance to civil authorities when required during domestic operations.
Attend assignments/tasks as assigned.
المهارات
Small boat and rigid hulled inflatable boat driving qualification.
Qualification in explosive device recognition/identification.
Deep diving qualification to 45M.
Dive supervisor qualification to 15M.
Dive supervisor qualification to 145M.
Permission to perform welding works underwater.
Basic knowledge of local and international marine and regulations.
Good English language skills including reading, writing and speaking.
