Tendering Engineer receives general assignments directly from Tendering Group Leader. The position handles most routine matters independently and seeks the assistance of the team members, if necessary. The position interacts with all department personnel. The position may also require to interact with customers/vendors. The complex part of this position is to priorities work and ensures that the given tasks are accomplished timely and accurately. 1. Ensure clear understanding of the client’s technical specifications/drawings 2. Maintain and update the database of drawings/pricing 3. Responsible for proposal preparation which includes price structuring and other commercial and technical aspects of bid submission 4. Liaise with all associated external parties which includes suppliers, subcontractors 5. Liaise with other departments with the sales, contract administration and procurement department 6. Maintain competitive files, statistics, database/tenders 7. Adherence to deadlines, bonds, payment terms and conditions
المهارات
1. Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office products 2. Understanding and experience of rotating equipment and other oilfield products 3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills 4. Self starter with ability to trouble shoot and solve technical problems 5. Enthusiastic, proactive and flexible approach to work 6. Knowledge of auto cad and faro arm is a definite advantage for this position
