Operator Crane

Controls and operates melt shop 260 ton overhead cranes, to charge scrap to the furnace, position ladles for furnace tapping, carry and transfer ladles of liquid steel to the continuous casting turret, tip ladles, change shells, all other Steel Plant activities requiring crane.

Train new hot metal crane operators.
