Operator Casting Sand

We are looking for Operator Casting Sand

JD:
Control and operates Ladle turret, Ladle slide gate, Shroud manipulator, Tundish car, and control of casting
strand.

Responsible for preparation of tundishes, preparation of moulds, monitoring and controlling the casting
parameters, the addition of mould fluxes, taking samples and temperature measurements.

Ensures availability of materials & equipment to the enable smooth operation of the area.

Performs the necessary checks to the mould, bender, and sprays prior to mould preparation. Correctly prepares the mould according to set procedures

Assist with the continual improvement of the Quality System by implementing and participating in process improvement initiatives in relative areas

Report, Investigate and monitor near misses/incidents in the area of control, conduct and participate in all activities relating removal of hazards in the work area.

Attends plant breakdowns and provide the necessary assistance to his subordinates

Operate all caster equipment’s in a safe manner.

Continually monitors the mould conditions adding the correct amounts of mould flux and taking action to prevent problems occurring in the mould

Checking mould condition during turn around for leakage like hydraulic, mould cooling, spray cooling, grease lubrication system and update to casting FM.
