Service Technician (Fire&Gas;)

Service and maintenance technician required working 12 hours shift and on call service and maintenance work in field with clients equipment’s as well as preventive maintenance and trouble shoot of equipment’s in field.
Ensure that equipment is inspected and maintained to the manufacturer’s specifications or above.
Perform timely preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment as per manufacturers’ specifications or client requirements. This will include cleaning, calibration, and reporting of non-conforming products. Any equipment that is not deemed to meet manufacturers’ specifications shall be removed from service and reported to the Shift Lead or functional supervisor.
Install, replace, repairs, and inspects gas detector, smoke detector, heat detector, flame detector, manual pull station, sounder, beacon and other fire and gas detection equipment.
Test fire alarm and gas detection systems using appropriate diagnostic programs and equipment.
Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
Maintain appropriate record management, including; maintaining equipment maintenance log, any calibration records and equipment manuals both electronic and hardcopies.
Installation / Assembly of cable trays , junction boxes and other electrical parts as per sheet/print instructions & Bill of Material.
Individual must be able to work effectively within a team environment to achieve defined expectations. This can include co-workers, contractors, clients, and any other personnel required.
The individual practices apply all safe work procedures including client policies and procedures, manufacturer’s specifications, regulatory standards and customer standard where applicable.
Service and maintenance technician may have to support Aujan on other projects as required.

Ensures that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Performs other general maintenance as assigned.
Ability to operate drills, conduit benders, drill presses, cable pullers, meters (volt, OHM, AMP, Meg), hand drills, hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read blue prints and parts lists.
Ability to use a computer.
Ability to use diagnostic program and other applicable diagnostic software and equipment.
Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
Competency in working with data and information gathering and analysis.
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required.
Must drive to the job location for service and maintenance work.
Experience in Saudi Petrochemical plants.
Familiar with Aramco & Sabic HSE policy.
Good communication skills (English) reading, speaking and writing.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inspection and maintenance of Fire and gas detection system equipment’s.
Equipment Maintenance Certification via Manufacturer (i.e. Scott Health & Safety, Detcon, Industrial Scientific, BW, Draeger, Detronics, MSA etc)
ITI or High School diploma.
NEBOSH certified is a plus.
