The QA analyst ensures that all quality assurance processes and systems are in place to manage and develop NIT I’s curriculum and leads to the maintenance and improvement of academic standards. Responsibilities: Works with Heads of department to implement the NITI’s quality assurance framework for further education courses and curriculum. Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements and implementing change. Meets quality assurance financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Develops the annual Quality Assurance/Quality Management Plan for the curriculum and training programs at NIT I Determines, negotiates and agrees upon in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications Manages the processes and documents necessary to respond to alt curriculum and quality audits. Develop centralised records and monitor the results of internal and external audits and inspections including external verifier reports Manages and prepares the necessary documentation for internal and external validation with the curricula development and evaluation unit team. Develops systems to record and monitor compliance with curriculum policies including policies for assessment and Ensures compliance with all awarding and validating body requirements and keep the Marketing & Development Director informed of impending changes. Reviews existing policies and procedures and recommends changes in them to make review of curriculum more robust and relevant. Initiates and completes reports, tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPls) and other administrative tasks as required Integrates quality processes with technology to make it seamless and relevant. Creates and Updates detailed training documents for end users for any process developed or changed Keeps abreast with the best practices in quality initiatives in curriculum development and evaluation and recommends them to senior management. Schedules regular continuous improvement meetings along with the QA analyst for corrective actions against non conformances to quality in curriculum. Supervises the work of the quality analyst and ensures compliance to overall quality requirements of NITI
