- Ensure the implementation of company policies and procedures
- Suggest improvements in the current policies and procedures
- Manage the HR department budget and operate in a cost effective manner
- Oversee all GOSI, HRDF, and medical insurance operations and ensure that they are carried out timely and effectively by the HR team
- Oversee investigations and support the ethics committee in resolving employees issues
- Monitor internal HR system to ensure that all employees’ information in complete and updated
- Support OD Department in Training & Development operations as and when required
- Develop a consolidated and a comprehensive HR report to be presented to the board to assist in making decisions about the future organizational plans and strategic goals
- Identify areas of improvement in his/her subordinates and ensure their continuous growth
- Coach and provide formal and informal positive constructive feedback to ensure that work is carried in an efficient manner
- Recommend training needs to bridge staff skill gap
- Provide consultancy and guidance to others as and when required
- Conduct quarterly meetings with the management and present the HR Report
- Perform other job related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that are often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances
