Job Purpose
Oversee, implement and administer Human Resources programs and systems to support and promote the HR objectives of IMI.
Functional Duties:
1. Manage the activities of the Human Resources Services Department.
2. Assist in the on boarding and off boarding of employees and ensure that all related activities are performed according to the standard procedures.
3. Oversee the employee data (e.g. work hours, leave, and absenteeism) and take necessary actions to address any identified problem.
4. Develop processes and metrics to monitor and assess the achievement of IMI’s HR objectives.
5. Oversee the management of payroll and benefits administration to ensure that compensation and benefits are accurately and efficiently processed and implemented.
6. Understand and interpret the HR and company policies & procedures in order to translate them into information system solutions and integration.
7. Lead the HR systems integration activities and manage all related projects from initiation to delivery in coordination with IMI IT department, HR Department and external consultants and service providers.
8. Provide business solutions to all HR systems related activities in order to ensure availability and utilization of best-in-class information systems solutions.
9. Provide guidance to line managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and practices.
10. Oversee administration of employee relations matters relating, but not limited to: corrective action, grievances, disputes, and separation in accordance to the company policies and applicable laws.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
Managerial Duties:
1. Direct and manage respective Divisions in performing their roles, responsibilities and delegated tasks.
2. Conduct performance evaluation reviews for direct reports, identify and ensure they acquire the required managerial or functional skills and knowledge.
3. Provide input in setting the Department’s annual budget, in accordance with the Function’s strategic goals and objectives.
4. Detect needed and additional skills or individuals in order meet and exceed the set of objectives.
5. Create a productive and healthy work environment within the Department, and foster high attention to details and efficient knowledge transfer among employees.
