Key Responsibilities
1) Duty Payment
· Duty payment to be checked prior to payment of both the express and the Cargo Center for the value, Currency and the percentage
· No duty to be paid for the cons that are above 5 % slab (if duty rate > 5% should be informed to consignee / Shipper prior to pay customs)
· To cross check the HS code before the payment of customs duty
· To Follow up and ensure All Depot Master RCs and statistical bayans are timely reaching to Depot CDAs
Through shift clearance coordinators
· On time updates and circulation of BANK RC reports to CHO and follow up with the CHO for the adequate fund availability at the bank for duty payment
· Double duty payment to be cross checked and to keep a note on the duty exempted , under deposit and GCC made duty exemption shipments
· If customs department ordered to pay any arrear due on behalf of consignee, that should be get prior approval from consignee / shipper .
2) Sorting Original Bayan
· Need to sort Original bayans according to destination wise to dispatch the same to Depots to avoiding delay in duty payment from customers.
3) Petty cash.
· Need to manage petty cash for clearance daily expenses etc.,

Secondary education diploma.
Basic knowledge of the Transport industry.
VAT/Duty processes & policies.
Mathematical skills.
Knowledge of MS- Office applications.
