Job Summary
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting equipment, fixtures and other electrical systems, ensuring that all tasks performs in compliance with electrical and building codes regulations, and standards.
Job Duties
· Perform the assigned duties as per the set policies and procedures in order to achieve the project department goals.
· Read blue prints, work order and instructions for work required to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
· Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
· Install electrical system using hand and power tools according to electrical and building codes, standards and regulations.
· Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
· Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate and determine the cause of a breakdown and fix the problem to ensure that the system work optimally.
· Set up and operate electrical system in a safe and efficient way according to all applied legislation, policies and procedures.
· Perform regular and preventative maintenance activities using inspecting equipment to detect any problems and fix it.
· Maintain and service the electrical system periodically to increase its life.
· Perform periodical safety checks to ensure proper functioning of the machine.
· Ensure adherence to applied health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
· Perform any other tasks related to the job assigned by the direct supervisor/manager.

Minimum Education : Diploma in Electric Engineering or any related field
Minimum Experience : 1+ years of experience
Training and Certifications : Any related training
Languages : Arabic or English
