KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategy Development and Implementation
Develop and direct the implementation of the departmental strategy ensuring alignment to the divisional strategy, Zamil Offshore’s vision, mission and corporate objectives.
Ensure the provision of subject matter expertise for the assigned domain and provide counsel to Zamil Offshore’s leadership on all related areas to facilitate the achievement of Zamil Offshore’s strategy and departmental strategies.
Leadership
Manage the effective achievement of departmental objectives through effective leadership and by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating team to maximise performance.
Budgeting and Financial Performance
Oversee the consolidation and recommend the departmental budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/ revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
Procurement
Oversee the management of the procurement process including RFP issuance, shortlisting and evaluation of bidders.
Ensure the requirements from the business with materials forecasting to ensure smooth and seamless streamline of supply without interruption, and that the product specifications and quantity of all received orders are as per the purchase order.
Establish professional relationships with vendors to ensure the accessibility of quality materials and services in a timely and efficient manner and in line with the divisional strategy and policy.
Ensure that procurement activities are processed in accordance to defined policies and procedures and escalate incidents of non-compliance to relevant authorities.
Direct the internal control mechanism to ensure quality standards are met in delivery of all approved procurement requests and resolve any grievances/issues accordingly.
Warehouse
Oversee the overall planning, implementation, and optimisation of all warehouse activities to increase efficiency and standardisation of warehouse operations in order to ensure all records are updated accurately displaying the correct quantities of goods stored.
Catering
Oversee the catering services activities for the marine operations employees and other authorised group to ensure smooth operations and to achieve the catering unit objectives.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Develop and lead the implementation of the departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned functional so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
Change Management
Lead the management of change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes and practices taking into account global standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
Reporting
Ensure that all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Zamil Offshore requirements, policies and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent with a specialisation in Supply Chain Management
Experience:
• 8 – 10 years of experience in supply chain management; with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial position
