الوصف الوظيفي Determine network bandwidth needs and recommend measures to meet those requirements. Conduct network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high-performance integrated network. Direct system installation. Select and install appropriate data communications components configured to meet the company’s needs. Program routers, switches, and other network hardware components. Configure DNS servers. Maintain firewall and manage security related to hacking. Define, document, and enforce system standards. Manage owned domain names. Design, recommend and implement new solutions to improve the resilience of network operations. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outages. Schedule updates and upgrades. Collaborate with network architects to optimize system performance. Engage in data network fault investigations. Secure network systems with policies that define and monitor access. Report network operation status based on project management and priority information. المهارات Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, & Power Point). MOS preferred Advanced knowledge in the following fields is required: System Administration and/or Network Security. The latest developments in security threats and protection systems available. Firewalls - at a level experienced with separating DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), Public Networks, and Private Networks. Routers, Switches, and Network appliances. Network Protocols and Port Assignments - TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocols), and UDP (User Datagram Protocols) VLAN isolation and Subnet segmentation. Utilizing network protocols: SSH, Telnet, FTP, SFTP, etc. Knowledge of the following would be preferred: Managing and troubleshooting VOIP Telecom Systems.
