الوصف الوظيفي Assists in admission procedures of patients to the in-patient service, whether it is ICU or General Ward. Performs initial work up and evaluation of patients admitted to the ward or Operating Room. Follow up patients during the hospital stay and plan the management of these patients under the supervision of the attending specialist. Makes daily rounds on the in-patient service and make management decisions under the superv ision of the attending specialist and in consultation with the various sub-specialty services . Makes discharges and plans patients home or to another facility in consultation with attending specialists. Dictates discharge summaries. Provides on-call coverage for the in-patient service on a rotational basis as per schedule developed by the Chief of Surgery. When on-call, the ward physician must stay in the hospital to respond to requests of the nurses to evaluate patients. Obtains the assistance of other specialists or various sub-specialists when in need, especially when the patient is a life-threatening situation. Performs procedures as indicated and outlined in his request for privileges and approved by the Credentials Committee. Provides accompany services to patients transferred to other hospitals. Provides supervision and education to the Professional development Physicians and Interns. Attends and participates in the monthly staff meeting of the service they work in. Participates and contributes to all the activities of the service, e. Case Presentation, Grand rounds. Participates and contributes to all performance improvement activities of the services, i.e. daily morning Chief of Service report, monthly Mortality and Morbidity meetings, peer review and surgical case review. To treat patient with compassion and to be person centered care. Provides education to the patient and family regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and alternatives and other. Sharing in patient education. المهارات Must hold a valid license to practice 4 years year of residency training Master degree or board in surgery Professional Experience: Three years of residency training in specialty in a recognized training program. Minimum Skills: Must be able to accept administrative direction and professional guidance and must be able to adjust to group Handling minor and major surgery cases during on call and week ends Must be able to follow clinical departmental guidelines Specialized Skills: Excellent command or verbal and written Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial Condition: 2 Patient education physical exam obtaining informed.
