The Job Holder is Responsible to extend the required guidance and support for achieving the sales targets through all branches and sub-dealers located within the assigned area.To monitor the achievement of periodical retail sales targets and identify scope for improvement/change.To enhance the reputation and relationship of the company with key corporate clients/accounts in order to further the Group’s business interests in the designated area.To maintain, manage and motivate sales force and other personnel capable of delivering the sales growth and expansion to achieve targets.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: OperationsVisits all branches or outlets often to ensure the effectiveness of sales and merchandising effort.Translates business plans for retail sales to individual channels of all branches within the designated area. SalesEnsures the overall targeted sales for the retail all branches in the area are achieved or exceeded by continuously monitoring the retail sales, market dynamics and by coordinating with other functions to maximize sales.
Marketing
Analyze customer satisfaction reports and market research analyses to initiate formulation/tune-up of retail sales strategies /activities.Stays in regular contact with the Marketing function and converts maximum leverage from this function for retail sales in the area.Maintains awareness of developments in sales techniques and technology, and the activity if competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position. Quality AssuranceImplements specific performance standards in key areas and evaluates performance against these standards; coaches and assists the personnel in improving their performance.Ensure that the Area Outlets maintains the necessary resources for the supply of its products to meet defined cost and quality standards.Ensures that the department is staffed with competent and motivated personnel as well as provides for optimum utilization of Area Managers. This includes the selection of competent personnel, training, their evaluation, authority and careful allocation of work.
Monitoring, Reporting, and ControlFollows procedures of reporting on performance, budgets and other reports required from time to time to the Sr. Area Retail Manager.Monitors and controls the budget for the area to ensure that all financial targets are met and that all necessary financial controls are in place. Team ManagementOrganizes and controls area sales staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet all sales targets.Review the performance of sales staff and takes remedial action where necessary to ensure that sales targets are met.Ensures that sales incentive schemes are fairly administered so that the sales force remains motivated.Select, develop and coach the team to meet or exceed specific target for continuous improvement. Customer RelationsBuilds relationships with key customers/clients and retailers to ensure customer satisfaction and increase market share for converting such opportunities.
Business Development & GrowthAbility to identify consumer insights, business & other technical opportunities (R&D;, innovations at suppliers...), define innovation strategies and concepts, to transform them into initiatives and to achieve their implementation.
LeadershipAct as a professional mentor to his staff.Promote a learning environment and implements self-development to maintain and improve expert status in highly specialized technical and general fields

Minimum QualificationBachelor Degree in Marketing / Sales or related field Minimum ExperienceExperience of more than 8 years in retail sales management. Other requirementsHighly collaborative approach with effective negotiation and influencing skills to act for change.Ability to interact with a multinational workforce with tact and understanding in order to minimize conflicts and maintain a harmonious work environment through counseling and patient handling of issues.
