System Administrator and IT Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary function will be to provide administrative support for VMware Veeam and Windows
applications and security as well as with troubleshooting and VM management throughout the
lifecycle of the program, additionally, DR planning, implementation and storage shares will be
required.
Assistance with training users and producing documentation through team and individual efforts will
be required.
Participates in design and implementation of systems as well as providing inputs to the design and
implementation of supported systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Install and ******ure VMware, Veeam and windows servers.
• Setup and ******ure HP servers.
• Setup and ******ure HA, VMotion, DRS.
• Backup Disaster Recovery Management.
• Day to Day system administration of VMware, Veeam and windows servers.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Must have 3 years of VMware administration in the areas of design, implementation, capacity
planning, maintenance.
• Must have 5 or more years administering heterogeneous production environments on windows
servers running on various hardware.
• Expert knowledge in windows servers, SQL Server and Veeam Backup & Replication; experienced
in architecting, designing and deploying virtualized infrastructure in VMware environment.
• Working experience with vSphere systems administration and support including VMotion, HA,
DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, VCenter, storage migrations, and P2V migrations.
• Working experience with ******uring and deploying VMware ESX on HP ProLiant servers and HP
Blade
• Good understanding of related storage technologies e.g. SAN, NAS using block storage, NFS and
ISCSI.
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions and tools including clustering,
load balancing, etc.

• VMware Certified Professional
• Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
• Microsoft SQL Server certifications
• ACE-Fx - Avaya Certified Experts
