Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, NC KSA provides community and customized training based on Niagara College Canada’s expertise and international track records as one of Canada’s most innovative and enterprising applied learning post-secondary institutions.
With a strong focus on developing ‘world-’ and ‘work-’ ready graduates, NC KSA specializes in delivering a number of quality programs designed to prepare young men and women for successful entry into the workforce in the areas of Business, Event Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Information Technology and Graphic Design. All NC KSA campuses also offer a foundation program for English language development.
Applicants are invited for the position of Manager, Employer & Community Engagement, Niagara College KSA, Al Ahsa female campus. Reporting to the Associate Principal, Academic, the Manager, Employer & Community Engagement is responsible for the development of comprehensive services to support and engage students in their pursuit of employment. These services include the delivery of on the job training preparation and support to students, operation of the on-campus Job Centre supporting all students and graduates, annual employer recruitment events such as career fairs and the development of extensive on-line resources and supports for students and graduates.
The anticipated start date of this position will be as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervise and lead the operation of on the job training and Graduate Employment Services
Oversee and enhance the day to day operations of the Job Centre
Develop and lead the delivery of on the job training programs and related services
Participate in internal and external networks and committees to ensure all services are responsive and progressive
Act as an employer community liaison promoting students and graduates to employers
Assist in recruiting Employer Advisory Board and establish relationships with key stakeholders
Work with Student Services staff to coordinate Convocation ceremonies/speakers
Liaise with local charitable organizations to identify potential volunteer opportunities for students
Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Required qualifications, at a minimum, include:
A three (3) year diploma/degree in a relevant area (Human Resources, Business, Adult Education)
Career Practitioner training or certification is an asset
Five (5) years relevant progressive work experience
Advanced skills and knowledge in using career planning tools
Superior human resource management, customer service and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated supervisory skills
Excellent facilitation/presentation skills including large group facilitation
Demonstrated understanding of how academic programming and workplace experience interconnect
Experience working in on the job training programming in a post-secondary environment
Experience engaging employers and community partners and marketing programs and services
Advanced communication, analytical, liaison, time management, problem solving and prioritizing abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English
