Design Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
Design Engineer to produce the highest quality designs and developments to meet customer specifications whilst optimizing the method of manufacture, using development techniques, complete with product and manufacturing drawings to a high standard with all relevant tolerances and identifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• To be directly involved and lead projects that require design assistance or improving.
• Design prototypes and develop products as required across a range of machines.
• Design to meet costs, timing, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Facilitate Hadley Allied Products with drawings in a multitude of formats.
• Use of CAD & solid works systems appropriate to area of work.
• Develop the management of design controls and system to increase revenue and efficiency.
• Conduct research and make recommendations based on evolving trends, programs and processes.
• Inspect products with correct measurement equipment appropriate to the task and to drawings issued.
• To produce models, designs and drawings that will be for use on a multitude of sheet metal machines. ,2d and 3d drawings for laser. Assembly drawings and packing specifications on assembly & finishing.
Qualifications
• BS in Mechanical Engineering & Electronic with minimum 3 years applicable experience in product design including detail design and test, material selection, development and maintenance, cost control and project management.
• Engineering experience, ideally in previous Metal & Fabrication or similar design role.
• Experience in Autodesk Inventor both 2D, 3D and modelling with assemblies, rendering and environments• Experience in AutoCAD

• Experience with SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
