Safety Engineer

Palace Consulting Engineers is an Engineering Design & Construction Management Company catering its services to customers like Saudi Electricity Company. Currently we are hiring a team of Consultants for our project of HVDC Converter Stations Construction Management.

Duties & Responsibilities of Safety Engineer

-Reporting to the Project Manager.

-Review the Project Safety plan and suggests development & maintain the Safety Plans.

-Ensure Implementation of “ Zero Tolerance Policy”

-Ensure that the safety awareness training for project personnel are conducted, both for Contractor and of sub-contractors’.

-Continuously monitor site activities to ensure safe working practices.

-Target safety teams to areas of known/possible deficiency.

-Identify and eliminate fire hazards.

-Ensure all equipment used in the works is in safe working condition.

-Ensure all equipment/tools that require testing do comply with manufacturer’s instructions/recommendations.

-Prepare daily and monthly safety reports; determine areas of deficiency; conduct risk assessment reports.

-Investigate accidents and prepare reports to the Project Manager.

Qualifications Required for Safety Engineer

-Bachelors of Engineering (Any Discipline)

-8 Years of Total Experience out of which Min of 4 Years experience as Safety Engineer on EHV SS or HVDC Construction project.

-NEBOSH Certification Required.

Other Requirements of Safety Engineer

-Shall be aware of International Engineering Standards and should have worked on the Supervision, Consulting and Project Monitoring of similar capacity of Substation Constructions.

-Microsoft Office & Tech Savvy.
