B.S degree holder in Computer Science, MIS, IT, IS or Computer Engineering

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Linux, Unix, Windows and all OS, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Oracle BI technologies

Dimensional modeling, ETL background. ODI (oracle data integrator) and Oracle BI Administrator RPD

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Building and managing metadata delivery system according to designs

Continues maintenance and applying business changes in repositories

Will additionally handle BI development

Main tasks:

Manage Metadata

- Inventory metadata elements, locations and relationships

- Educate team on metadata situation and responsibilities

- Identify key elements to manage

- Create systems to capture additional metadata

- Create tools to synchronize metadata

- Design and implement metadata delivery system

- Document metadata strategy

- Ongoing metadata management and monitoring

- Inventory metadata elements, locations and relationships

- Educate team on metadata situation and responsibilities

BI Application Development

- Populate BI tool metadata

- Create business metadata

- Test BI tools

- Set up user security

- Set up report process metadata system

BI Application Design

- Create application standards and templates

- Identify and prioritize candidate applications

- Document detailed BI application specifications

- Design navigation framework

- Validate the applications and data model

BI Application Development

- Review application specifications and standards

- Populate BI tool metadata

- Create business metadata

Performance Tuning

- Test query performance
