The Business Contract Senior Specialist will play a vital role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our business contracts. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of contract law. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including legal, procurement, sales, and finance teams, to ensure that contracts are negotiated, executed, and implemented effectively.
Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and legal implications associated with contracts, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks effectively.
Contract Negotiations: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, terms, and conditions throughout the contract period, and implement processes to monitor and report on compliance.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, addressing any contractual issues and resolving conflicts that may arise.
Contract Administration: Develop and maintain a centralized contract repository, track contract milestones and renewals, and provide regular reports on contract performance and compliance.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve contract management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Legal Support: Collaborate with the legal team to resolve contract-related disputes, provide legal advice, and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Contract Law Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of contract law principles, contract drafting, and negotiation techniques. Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the company’s industry is advantageous.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to draft clear and concise contracts and effectively negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, procurement, sales, and finance teams.
Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems is a plus.
