Upload drawings to Hotwire computer systems.
Load Hotwire cutting CNC machines with Styrofoam.
Using and working on AutoCAD.
Use of CAD/CAM software to program 5-axis CNC machines.
Edit the G-Code generated by the CAD/CAM software to ensure that it is compatible with our machine and free of errors that may damage the machine.
Use of 3rd party verification software to validate NC files generated before releasing to the shop floor.
Program tooling drawings.
Perform necessary cutting operations.
Maintain revision control on programs and setup sheets.
Select optimal tooling & cutting speeds/feeds.
Make or offer suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturability.
Meet expectations for productivity and production goals.
Provide consistent ideas for process improvements.
المهارات
. High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
· 3+ years of experience working with CNC machines (not steel manufacturing).
· AutoCAD knowledge (expert).
· Understand measurements (cm, kg…).
· Attention to detail.
· Self-motivation.
· Work in a manufacturing environment (dusty, and hot situation).
