Duties and Responsibilities
Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct
Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department and the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan
Actively participates in the education requirement for the department and the hospital as per the Hospital Education Program
Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the scope of practice and employment contract.
Responsible for the organization of all preventative maintenance to all low-voltage electrical equipment and systems and all domestic equipment that he may be responsible for.
Responsible for ordering all material required for repairs, servicing and PPM work required on all electrical equipment and systems, and domestic equipment that he may be responsible for. This also requires ensuring that a sufficient stock level of material used is on hand in the various stores.
Follows and implements Management directives fully within his area of responsibility.
Prepares designs for modifications and new installations within his area of expertise and ability.
Responsible to provide feedback and reports to management on a regular basis.
Carries out all preventative maintenance on a regular basis without fail, on all low-voltage electrical equipment, systems and domestic equipment.
Carries out all day to day breakdown maintenance and repairs within a reasonable time frame. He will advise management of any situations which become an unreasonable time frame for downtime.
Organizes the work force assigned to him in the best possible manner to maximize efficiency and productivity, including quality of work.
Orders all appropriate material and parts to the proper quality and standard to complete all maintenance tasks. He shall also ensure that sufficient stock of material is on hand in the various stores.
Analyzes all material requirements for projects assigned for minor new capital projects or equipment installations and order the material to the correct quality, standard and quantity.
Inspect and monitors equipments and systems under his responsibility and take appropriate actions to correct any problems.
Responds to emergency call such as electrical faults or other problems and thoroughly analyze the problems and advise management. Corrective action shall be taken to prevent reoccurrences.
Monitors the performance, quality of work, productivity and attendance of all personnel under his responsibility.
Provide technical advice and direction to all tradesmen and labourers in their work as and when required to complete their maintenance tasks.
Requires to organize and run to motor rewind shop to service the entire site.
Requires to manage re-lamping the lights in his respective areas in the most efficient manner possible.
المهارات
Good written and oral communication in English. Desirable if able to communicate in Arabic as well.
Knowledge in U.P.S. systems and Emergency Power systems is essential.
Knowledge in electric motors, motor control panels and control circuitry, including troubleshooting is essential
Knowledge in all types of low-voltage panels, breakers, transformers and other devices is essential.
Knowledge in air-handling system controls and circuitry is essential.
Knowledge in all tools for the electrical trade is absolutely essential.
Knowledge in Personal Computer.
Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work as a team leader.
Able to work independently and able to manage priorities and tasks.
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering
