Laboratory technicians and technologist

We are looking to hire medical technologist (both part-time and full-time) to perform a variety of molecular and genetic tests and techniques in a clinical laboratory in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh and Dammam) to obtain accurate data for diagnosis and treatment of diseases. In addition, we are hiring laboratory technician (both part-time and full-time) to procure, prepare specimens from patients/donors for laboratory testing and distribute specimens to appropriate laboratory sections.
 Medical lab technologist duties:
• Assists lab supervisor in the appropriate dissemination of information in inter-shift, inter-sectional, and departmental communication.
• Obtains and processes laboratory specimens.
• Performs analyses, tests, and procedures. Maintains appropriate laboratory safety procedures and practices.
• Communicate with patients and customers (physicians/clinics/hospitals) to explain services and why they should consider the offered molecular tests for their patients.
 Medical lab technician duties:
• Organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labelling; sorting specimens; checking labelling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery.
• Collects samples from patients using the standard methods.
• Practices proper patient identification, label vials with patient names and dates.
• Ensures optimum levels of supplies are available to provide uninterrupted services; assists in ordering supplies and maintains the supply inventory system.
• Maintains quality results by running standards and controls, verifies equipment function.
• Identifies and communicates abnormal results to the appropriate personnel.
 Requirements
• Valid and current Saudi Commission for Health Specialties licensure is required.
• Self-motivated and high organizational skills Ability to work under pressure.
• Very good in English Language (written and spoken).
• Prior work experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent marketing skills is a huge plus
• Good knowledge of genetics is a plus. 
• Ability to manage multiple jobs (for those applying for the part time positions)
