Your duties and responsibilities as part of global freight forwarding company will include:
Handling and managing general cargo shipments, incl. full operational (technical) and cost control / profitability (commercial) aspects across airfreight / sea freight / road transport & customs clearance activities.
Serving as a point of contact for clients, partners and other offices for any operations-related issues
Coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors, and sourcing competitive rates from potential subcontractors
Calculating and monitoring individual job files
Supporting sales team in writing up offers and proposals to clients
Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business environment
Supporting management (local and regional) in reporting, etc.
المهارات
Logistics Degree or 1-3 years of work experience as Coordinator or in a comparable position
Basic know-how in freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight / Airfreight is an advantage
Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail
Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
Fluent English skills, both written and verbal. Arabic skills is an advantage
Saudi Nationals are preferred.
Alternate candidates should be based out of Saudi Arabia with transferable iqama
