Your Main Responsibilities
• PREPARES AIRCRAFT SHEET METAL LAYOUTS AND DESIGNS TEMPLATES
• PERFORMS AIRCRAFT SHEET METAL FORMING OPERATIONS AND DESIGNS FORMING DIES
• DESIGNS, DIRECTS AND PERFORMS THE REPAIR OF BONDEDSTRUCTURES
• ROUBLESHOOTS AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL INSPECTION AND REPAIR SITUATIONS
• PERFORMS INSPECTIONS
• DESIGNS, DIRECTS AND FABRICATES AIRCRAFT FLEXIBLE CONTROL CABLES
Your Skills & Qualifications
Essential
• Should have at least 9 years aircraft structural experience, including a minimum of 5 years experience on a fast jet or training aircraft
• Should have knowledge of concepts and application of RSAFM 4-7166 series and supporting publications with respect to ferrous and nonferrous metal characteristics.
• Must have knowledge of Various metal cutting machines, hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• 12th grade education with courses in shop mathematics, metal working or mechanical drawing is desirable
• A military or similar qualification for working on aircraft structures is mandatory
