Visiting customers and ensuring their systems are working properly.
Positioning fire alarm equipment using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
Installing, commissioning and maintaining residential and domestic fire sprinkler systems.
Demonstrating systems to customers and explaining details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms to them.
Showing customers how to set fire alarms and how to turn them off.
Feeding cables through access holes, roof spaces, or cavity walls to reach fixture fire alarms circuits.
Using tools to locate problems and faults such as loose connections.
Writing up reports and quotations for clients.
Testing all basic alarm panel functions to make sure that every offered feature is functional.
Repairing non-functioning fire alarms and restoring them to original functionality or replacing them if necessary.
Recording all work performed, materials used and any problems encountered.
Putting away all tools that have been used.
Participating in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars, as required.
Transporting a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at a job site.
المهارات
Extensive knowledge of fire alarm systems.
Experience of working on domestic, industrial and commercial sites.
Carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance to fire alarms.
Knowledgeable about all fire safety codes and regulations.
Responding to emergency work orders quickly and efficiently.
Viewing electrical layouts contained on a builder’s blueprints to determine the appropriate fire alarm system needed for a building.
Providing clients with accurate cost estimates for system installation.
Keen to learn about new systems and further develop myself through training.
Enjoy helping others and problem solving.
Willing to travel and used to early morning starts.
Punctual and reliable, always being on time.
Presentable and professional in front of customers.
