Duplays was founded in 2007, to bring strangers together through the spirit of competition, by organizing sports leagues and teams for a myriad of recreational activities aiming to increase public health and shatter segregation through sport. Today, we embark on not just organizing high-quality sport experiences but building best-in-class multisport facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We’re joining Sports for All (SFA) on an exciting and groundbreaking mission, to increase the public’s participation in recreational activities. Our facilities, at 7,000 sq. metres plus, will be home to various sports, offering a temperature controlled, open space for individual customers, academies and federations to play the games they love.
As a result, we are hiring for a Venue Manager to join the company. Based in Dammam, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, gaining exposure to a fast–paced market with evolving challenges and opportunities.
This is a professional position that has an active role in the administration, operations and sales of the venue. The Venue Manager will report into the Operations and Development Manager to ensure team performance and workflows are operating efficiently while maintaining exceptional profit margins and managing local relationships with customers and suppliers.
To be considered for this demanding role, you’ll need to be an exceptional communicator, able to work alongside and report into senior officials. With a demonstrable background of meeting targets and leading projects. You will need to be an engaging and positive individual with a track record of managing a team.
Applicants will need to be comfortable with a varying workload and tight deadlines, but will also need to be calm and measured under pressure. Other responsibilities will include Monitoring SOPs, training and development and building a rapport with local schools, academies and federations.

Responsibilities
Offer advice on opportunities for greater efficiency and improving performance of the facility
Develop successful partnerships with third party contractors and suppliers offering input where required, ensuring high standards are maintained consistently
Assist in the creation of SOPs and ensure they are adhered to by all team members
Help to design the user experience pathway and retention model, brainstorm initiatives to enhance standards to meet and exceed customer expectations
Work with HR team in attracting, recruiting, developing, retaining and engaging the right people to deliver business results
Conscientiously strive to meet or exceed budgetary goals, understand how to achieve increased sales while maintaining expense controls
Maintain constant communication with the marketing team to ensure commercial opportunities are worked through together
Ensure that standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met and maintained
Encourage and support a learning and development culture to enhance the roles of team members
Act as an ambassador for the brand and company by maintaining the highest level of honesty, integrity, ethical and moral conduct always.

Skills and Experience
Prior experience of the sports/wellbeing sector
Strong selling skill set and ability to influence at a customer level and internally
Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently
Effective time-management and scheduling skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively convey markets insights and conditions back to senior management
Experience in managing a team in a service led facility (e.g. retail unit, sporting or leisure facility)
Experience starting or scaling a successful startup or new project is desirable but not essential
Experience of financial planning and management desirable
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm
