الوصف الوظيفي The On-shore Site Nurse is the provider of primary and emergency health care services to the onsite work force and oversees all aspects of clinical and medical management within the clinic, including medical evacuation support. B. Key Responsibilities Patient Care • Undertake clinical consultations and provide a high standard of service and care to patients attending the clinic. • Treat all clinical presentations to the minimal effective level of care in an effort to reduce client Lost Time Injury / Recordable Cases exposure without compromising patient wellbeing or recovery times. • Develop and ensure continuity of patient care and appropriate follow-up and referral. • Assist with the implementation of preventative medical care strategies, including structuring and performing medical screening services if requested. • Manage the delivery of competent and professional health services according to the International SOS standards. • Assist with ensuring appropriate patient triage and flow within the clinic. • Provide 12-hour non-emergency and emergency medical response and clinic services to employees on site, with the remaining 12 hours on call for emergency response only. • Coordinate with the International SOS Assistance Centres and Coordinating Doctors following the prescribed procedures for preparation of patients to facilitate evacuation if required. Quality Assurance and Administration • Work closely with the Senior Medical Advisor and Operations Team to optimize quality assurance and ensure that appropriate medical outcomes are consistently attained with respect to the provision of clinic services. • Ensure patient’s medical files and documentation are maintained to the highest standards and in accordance with International SOS standards for medical services. • Assist in the maintenance, selection and control of the medical equipment and supplies available in the clinic when required. • Ensure an effective and organized delivery of medical services supported by an appropriate audit program. • Track and report data on clinic utilization and hygiene inspections. Occupational Health & Safety Workers have a responsibility to: • Participate in the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace. • Undertake all mandatory OH&S;training as required. • Comply with any reasonable instructions, policies, procedures or safe work practices given by Intl.SOS in adhering to safe work procedures. • Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations. • Take reasonable care to ensure their own health and safety and the safety of others. • To report any injury, hazard or illness as soon as possible to their supervisor. Promotion of International SOS Services • Ensure International SOS and the client is represented in a professional manner. • Ensure a Continuous Quality Improvement culture and system is maintained throughout the clinic. • Assist in the promotion of International SOS’ medical services with the client. • Participate in the client’s and International SOS’ health promotions programs on topics provided on the MSRC and through established communications channels. Additional Responsibilities • Remain current with the understanding of client procedures and requirements according to the contract. • Perform non-accredited First Aid and CPR Training for non-medical employees when required. • Ensure Disaster and Medical Evacuation Response Plans are maintained, and all changes required are escalated to the appropriate Intl.SOS Managers. • To work within and promote all International SOS and Client policies, procedures and corporate values. • To be aware of International SOS’ OH&S;policies, practices and procedures and actively participate in the on-going development and enhancement of these important areas of our business. • Support client HSE representatives to ensure a safety culture that is paramount to the vessel workforce therefore meeting client LTI minimization. • Perform other duties, complete additional tasks and support ad hoc projects as required by the Client HSSE Manager/ Facilities Manager where, in the opinion of the practitioner, the support does not interfere with the medical provision at the location, and ultimate responsibility and liability does not fall on the practitioner. (Such decision should be escalated to the appropriate Intl.SOS Managers). • Ensure that the clinic, the ambulance and all medical equipment in them are maintained, cleaned and checked according to International SOS Procedures and Checklists. • Maintain clinic inventory by keeping accurate records of stock according to the Standard List on site. This includes accurate records of controlled medication (where allowed by local legislation) and weekly checks recorded in the Controlled Medication Register. • Provide health promotional training in line with client expectations, local diseases and/ or common trends. • Participate in emergency response drills, including weekly ER Drills distributed by the Medical Director or Training Team. • Perform weekly Food Hygiene and Accommodation audits, and report findings as specified by the client. • Perform, or assist in water testing, as specified by the client. • Completion of injury/illness referral documentation for all patient movements and evacuations المهارات Required Skills and Knowledge • Professional written and verbal communication skills • Quality of care focus • Professional bedside manner • Confident clinical decision making skills • Time management • Team player • Work effectively with non-medical staff • Cultural awareness Required Competencies • Varied international medical and/ or health care system experience • Experience in remote area medicine • Computer literacy is essential Required Work Experience • Medical Nurse with 3 years plus post-graduation experience gained within the Emergency room or Emergency Medical Services arena • Working knowledge of the principles of medicine. • Experience with both Primary Care and Emergency Medicine. Required Qualifications • Full Registration with the Saudi Ministry of Health and a license to practice as a nurse. • Appropriate professional registration in country of origin. • Valid Saudi Heart Association ACLS or similar protocols. • Valid First Aid Training Certificate Required Languages • Written and spoken English is essential • Hindi, Tagalog or Arabic will be a distinct advantage Travel / Rotation Requirements • This is a residential position in Saudi Arabia • Active rotations on the site will depend on operational requirements, but in- country off rotations will be scheduled. • 4 weeks annual paid leave applies. تفاصيل الوظيفة https://www.bayt.com/ar/saudi-arabia/jobs/onshore-site-nurse-4272741/ |
