Foreman

Role Purpose:
To lead a team of craftsmen into performing civil and finishing works in their assigned zones by assigning them duties and inspecting their work.

Key Accountabilities
 Ensure that the facility is maintained perfectly.
 Assign workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed company standards and building codes.
 Conduct stock inventory and ensure adequate supplies.
 Conduct regular inspection checks to ensure installations and fixtures are well maintained and the structures are sound.
 Conduct orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
 Ensure that the most suitably qualified person is assigned in the most suitable workplace.
 Make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
 Perform repair duties in case of emergency or staff shortage.
 Issue supplies and equipment to workers and ensure proper usage.
 Attend staff meetings to discuss company policies and occupants’ complaints.
 Ensure the availability of working uniform dresses.
 Ensure that all staffs are decently dressed up and well presentable.
 Record data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, and time cards, and prepares periodic reports.
 Evaluate staff performance and make recommendations.
