UL Pump Testing Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
· UL / FM / NFPA20 Performance testing of Engine and motor driven pumps.

· Experience on Pump Hydro testing and impeller balancing

· Preparation of testing schedule, Performance Testing arrangement

· and inspection of pumps.

· Selection of test bed, piping layout and testing accessories.

· Internal and witness inspection testing of pump with VFD 50Hz and 60Hz.

· Suggestion and modification, repairs in case of non-conformance of performance.

· Third party inspection of pumps for clients such as UL, FM, NFPA20, Saudi Aramco,

etc.,

· Preparation of test reports with study of Standards UL, ISO, HIS.

· Engine, Motor testing and its logic testing of panel.

· Handling Site Service issues

· Testing of Vibration as well as Sound and Temp of bearing of Pump

Main tasks and responsibilities:

· Making pump testing Schedule.

· Layout design, selection of test bed and collection of various accessories.

· Maintaining Calibration Records of various pump testing instruments.

· Encouraging worker for 5S, Kaizen etc.

· Keeping records of all pump test reports and various pump testing accessories.

· Part of various audits such as ISO, 5S.

· Purchasing of Pumps, Motor, Engine, instrument, accessories etc which needs to the

purpose.

· Maintaining co-ordination with various departments such as Production, QA/QC, R&D;.

· Good Communication skills – English
· Good MS Office skills
· Clear focus on Organizational needs
· Self-motivated and ability to excel with minimum supervision
· Able to perform under demanding scenarios · Flexibility and ability to adapt to change · Ability to complete tasks promptly and efficiently
· Ability to lead multinational people
· Degree in Mechanical / Electrical engineering
· Minimum 5-15 years of relevant experience in pump, Motor, Engine Performance testing. Hydro testing, Impeller balancing & offer third party inspection
· Experience with standards - UL, FM, NFPA20, ISO 9906, ISO 1940
· Knowledge of measurement devices like Flowmeter, PressureTransducer, Torquemeter, Energymeter, VFD, Vibration Analyzer, Sound level meter,
