Role Purpose
•This position is responsible for the achievements of all melting / casting functions within KSACO’s production operations.
•In addition, the job holder is responsible meeting the melting / casting scheduling and expediting the castings to achieve on time deliveries at the lowest cost.
•The focus of this position is to ensure that melting / casting production quality and Safety policies and regulations been followed to optimize the maximum performance and to avoided any risk taking.
Area of Duties :
•Melting and Casting steel production;• Production control;• Risk Management;
•Adhering to the quality standard and safety standard of KSACO.
•Responsible for maintain all equipment, material, consumables in melting / casting.
•Responsible zero fatality, loss time and fire accident in melting / casting.
•Supervise day to day melting and casting operation, schedules, priorities, quality and efficiency and manufacturing staff;
•Achieve daily production requirements based KSACO standard and assigned projects;
•Adhere to and participate with improvement plans for safety, quality and production related items and assist with process related projects as required;
•Supervise and facilitate discussions within team and cross functional plant operations;
•Monitor daily outputs while supervisor with temporary and permanent action plans;
•Supervise, manage and develop team members including coaching and mentoring;
•Monitor the quantitative and qualitative results that are scheduled to be achieved according to set targets.
•Keep and maintain all SWS, manual, instruction for melting / casting.
•Keep and maintain all spare parts, material, consumables for melting / casting
•Monitor and supervise the all workers to keep safety and healthy
•Monitor the inventory of material, consumable, device, and facilities in p shop, and make PR(purchasing request), if necessary.Casting Shop
•Check and adjust a chemical wash coating according to the production plan;.
•Instruct to make a runner pot
•Check the dimension and surface condition after casting;
•Instruct the casting and coating way for each worker
•Discuss with Melting shop and Shot-blasting shop due to proper proceeding;Melting Shop:
•Check the furnace lining and electric condition and water condition;
•Instruct to make a ladle according to the production plan;
•Calculate the material mixing ratio for each material composition;
•Eject and adjust the chemical composition according to the analysis result;
•Arrange the return scrap and shaving chit for re-melting;
•Instruct the volume using re-melting tube and shaving chip for each casting;
•Discuss with casting shop due to proper proceeding.
