Job Description and Requirements
SUMMARY
Perform process testing of Line pipe for production lines. Operates and troubleshoots laboratory test equipment, machinery and computers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Quality Control test support for Manufacturing including
Incoming raw material testing.
Short-term and long-term testing.
Destructive and non-destructive product testing.
Assisting third party inspectors and customer audit.
Maintain all quality control and testing related reports and documents.
Internal audits.
Perform R&D;testing on new product designs.
Evaluate and test field failures.
Perform long term product qualification tests.
Support field service personal with supplies and help with unusual installation and repairs in field
Maintain a general housekeeping of the laboratory and testing area.
Calibration of all testing, measuring and monitoring equipment’s.
General maintenance of lab equipment
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of international quality testing standard like; ASTM, API, etc.
5 or more years’ experience working in Quality control inspection and testing. preferably in fiberglass pipe industry.
High school diploma or equivalent - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
Ability to communicate in English with ease and make shift reports. (Arabic language would be added advantage).
Experience & knowledge working with QMS.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work conditions are normal for office and shop floor environment.
Work requires International travel.
Requires working in shifts.
