QC Inspector

Job Description and Requirements
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Quality Control Manager, is responsible for the visual and dimensional inspection of all products, monitor process controls for compliance and test incoming materials for acceptability during the shift.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection on helical would fiberglass pipe products , during the manufacturing process.
• Record inspection and test data.
• Periodic review of manufacturing operations to verify process parameters are being followed and manufacturing equipment is meeting process specifications.
• Obtain samples of in-process pipe, finished goods &/or raw materials for control testing and perform required verification tests.
• Maintain process records of manufacturing operations and prepare process data summaries.

• Investigate manufacturing problems to help determine cause and solution.
• Final inspection & release of product in compliance to customer and Standard compliance.
• Follow all safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Keep work area neat and orderly.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• High school or equivalent - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. (Arabic language would be added advantage)
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in quality control and inspection, preferably in fiberglass pipe industry. Ability to accurately use precision inspection equipment
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
