Job Description and Requirements Able to work in a team environment Performs all duties as assigned by the Supervisor A NDT Level I individual shall be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment for task at hand Maintains NDT certification. Excellent visual inspection ability (must qualify). Performs NDT inspections for which certified. Interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, specifications, procedures and customer’s specific requests. Perform specific calibrations, specific NDE, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and to record accurate results. Engineering drawing and specification interpretation and the ability to apply these standards in the process of inspection. High school graduate (or hold a state or military approved high school equivalency diploma) with not less than 5 years’ work experience as a NDT certified technician Must be qualified to perform below tasks: 1.Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI) 2.Liquid Penetrant testing / Dye Penetrant testing (DP) 3.Visual Testing 4.Ultrasonic testing 5.Hardness testing (Rockwell & Brinell) Ability to workwith computers / computerized equipment Ability to read,understand, and communicate in English Min ASNT Level I Certification in UT, MT, and PT. Ability to organize and report test results, and send information to the office for data processing. Ability to solve technical issues in the field. |
