Leading waterproofing manufacturer is looking for a Procurement Manager who has extensive experience in waterproofing & thermal insulation materials manufacturers.

To manage the export sales activities of the company Products by planning and implementing export sales strategies through various distribution channels, in order to achieve or exceed the sales targets within the overall business objectives of the company
Strategy
Participates in the formulation and implementation of the Commercial department strategy to ensure the alignment with company strategy
Plans, organises and manages the execution of Export Sales operations in various locations within Saudi Arabia to fulfil the business objectives and meet sales targets
Policies, Processes and Procedures
Participates and recommends improvements to Commercial department policies, processes and procedures and manages the implementation to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled
Day-to-day management
Manages the day to day operations of Commercial department – Export Sales Section by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
Liaises with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of interactions
Job Specific Accountabilities
Nurtures business suspects and prospects and negotiate/execute Export Sales deals in order to achieve sales targets in line with business objectives
Develops efficient and effective export sales strategies applicable for each identified countries to ensure that appropriate means are utilized for sales growth
Contributes to the identification of new value added business opportunities using innovative concepts, and considering changes in the market environment , which can be converted into revenue generating opportunities in line with Business objectives
Provides inputs to the continuous review and improvement of Sales practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans
Appoints and manages distributors and dealers to ensure that they conduct business according to terms of agreement with the company and properly represent the company in their respective areas
Conducts study of international port regulations and local regulations with regards to imported products to ensure that new regulations are addressed and issues are resolved
Conducts and prepare sales forecasts in order to determine the amount of finished products for delivery to clients
Reviews and approves purchase orders received from clients to ensure that accurate information are included on the PO
Maintains relationships with key retailers, main contractors and applicators and negotiating favorable terms for vendor services
Negotiates with clients and customers with regards to product prices in order to ensure a win- win business transaction maintaining and protecting the best interest of the company aligned with its strategic pricing policy
Works with the Marketing section to identify customer segments, perform segmentation analysis, and target the appropriate customer segments for specific projects
Provides direction and guidance to Export Sales Engineers on customer acquisition and relationship management with major accounts, contractors, dealers and applicators
Ensures accurate and consistent records are maintained of sales transactions, purchase orders, deliveries and receipt of booking amounts by the Accounts section
Budget
Prepares and recommends the development of Commercial department budget, and monitors financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment
People Management
Manages the effective achievement of department objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff, providing of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and department performance
Reports
Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports of Commercial Department to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
